The RSTP is a program designed to support the Sponsorship Agreement Holders (SAHs) of Canada, their Constituent Groups, Groups of Five and Community Sponsors interested in sponsoring refugees.
The objective of RSTP is to address, on a national level, the information and ongoing training needs of the sponsorship community and the initial information needs of refugees.
RSTP works closely with elected SAH representatives and the broader Sponsorship Community.
RSTP is supported by a 8-member Advisory Committee, who represent the various voices of the diverse sponsorship community including different regions of this country - the Pacific, Prairies, Ontario and Atlantic; ethnic, national, regional and local SAHs; Anglophone and Francophone groups. The committee provides guidance, direction and planning assistance to RSTP.
RSTP is administered by Catholic Crosscultural Services (CCS).
RSTP staff comprise of one program manager and two trainers.
RSTP is funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). |
